A new Fox News poll yielded some results that the network might not have been anticipating. According to the new poll, a majority of respondents said that Donald Trump is not mentally fit to hold office, and even larger majorities said that Biden was more honest, trustworthy, and less corrupt than the former President. These are the kinds of polls that actually matter right now, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. .

*This transcript was generated by a third-party transcription software company, so please excuse any typos. It's always a good day when you have Fox News out there conducting their polls, which you know are gonna skew to the right and then they have to air the polls cuz they paid for 'em, right? They put in the effort to make these polls and the polls show something that the network definitely doesn't want the people to see. That happened recently when Fox News did their own little polling data and found that a majority of the respondents in their very own Fox News poll said that Donald Trump does not have the mental soundness to serve as president of the United States. 56% of respondents in this Fox News poll said absolutely not. Donald Trump is not mentally fit to be the president. Now the poll also found that 60% of respondents said Biden is not mentally fit to be president. So a majority of respondents said, Nope, not Trump, and nope, not Biden. These guys are not all there and we don't want them to be president because of that. But then the poll actually had some more bad news for Donald Trump and some decent news for Joe Biden. Biden had a nine point advantage over Trump regarding honesty and an eight point lead for empathy, 11% fewer people also believe that Biden is corrupt. So Trump has an 11 percentage point lead in whether or not voters think they're corrupt over President Biden. The poll by the way, also showed Donald Trump with a 30 point lead over Ron DeSantis. Um, and I gotta be honest again, I know it's a Fox News poll, so I know it skews heavily to the right, but Biden having only a nine point advantage over Trump on honesty, only an eight point lead for empathy. Like I get the honesty thing cuz there's even people on the left who are like, Biden can't be trusted, he's a liar. Hmm, okay. Um, yes, all politicians lie. I don't think Biden's out there intentionally just lying to us left and right. But anyway, um, the empathy thing, like, I don't care if you, you know, love Biden or hate Biden, I think it's pretty obvious that he has a very empathetic individual. So that is weird that that's only an eight point gap, but the honesty's a nine point gap either way, it is what it is. But these numbers tell us something. These numbers, by the way, are far more important than the head-to-head matchup polling data that we've seen come out recently because these are the things that actually weigh on the voters' minds. And when voters go to the polls, it doesn't matter what they told the pollster last week, last month, or last year about who they're gonna vote for in a Biden versus Trump matchup, they're gonna remember these things. They're gonna say, you know what? I just can't trust Trump. I can't do it. I can't vote for him, or I just can't trust Biden. I'm, I can't, I can't, I'm not gonna vote for him. Those are the things that weigh on the voter's minds. They're gonna look at their own financial situation. Am I better Off than I was four years ago? Do I want to stay on this train? Do we want to try something new? How was I during the Trump administration? Right? We're probably gonna be in a situation where both of the party's nominees will have one term as president under their belts. Was it better under Trump? Was it better under Biden? I mean, not, not the best choices, but I think it's, you know, pretty clear to anybody who's not a complete MAGA idiot that it's been better under Biden. But we'll see. I do think the polls like this showing the trends, the things like honesty, the things like empathy, even the, you know, are they even fit to be president?
